Kirk Hinrich Suffers Hip Strain
Chicago Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich suffered a right hip strain in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and did not return to the game.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau did not have an update on Hinrich’s status after the game.
“He’ll be re-examined (Sunday)” Thibodeau said.
Hinrich also endured a strained groin in the preseason and missed the final preseason game.
Hinrich was acquired in the offseason to start at point guard until Derrick Rose returns from his ACL injury.
