New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and center Tyson Chandler each left Wednesday night’s New York Knicks-Denver Nuggets game and did not return.

Anthony departed early in the third quarter due to a sore right knee, according to MSG. He returned to the Knicks on Monday night after missing the previous three games with the same ailment.

Chandler went down late in the first half after banging knees with Denver guard Corey Brewer. The team called the injury a left knee contusion.

Chandler was helped off the floor by teammates and could not put weight on the knee. His status for Thursday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers is uncertain.
