Knicks’ Coach Plans Talk with J.R. Smith
Mike Woodson said he would have a conversation with J.R. Smith after his performance against Miami. J.R. had a crucial turnover late in the game, but it was more so his shot selection that Woodson wants to discuss.
Smith was 5-for-18, including 3-for-14 from three.
“He’s got to mix it up,” Woodson said. “When you’re not making your shots from the three you got to get a little bit closer or try and get to the free throw line. That’s what good scorers do.”
