Knicks F Anthony doubtful for Saturday’s game
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is unlikely to play in Saturday’s game at the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Anthony suffered a sprained ankle early in the third quarter of Thursday’s loss to Memphis.
He did not return to the game but X-rays were negative. The Knicks said he was doubtful to play Saturday.
Anthony scored 14 points against Memphis and is averaging 25.5 points and 6.2 rebounds. Bill Walker will start if Anthony cannot go Saturday.
New York had a four-game winning streak snapped with Thursday’s loss.
