Knicks F Anthony eyes return vs. Nets

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony may be making his return to the court for Monday’s game against the New Jersey Nets.

Anthony was able to work out prior to Sunday’s tilt versus the Dallas Mavericks, but was held out of the contest. He is dealing with the effects of a strained right groin – a condition which has sidelined him for seven games.

The 27-year-old Anthony suffering the injury on Feb. 6 against the Utah Jazz.

Anthony is averaging 22.3 points and six rebounds per game this season.
