Knicks’ Felton Suffers Bone Bruise in Hand
Raymond Felton left the locker room on Sunday fearing he may have broken his nonshooting left hand. However, an MRI revealed only a bone bruise.
The Knicks are listing the veteran point guard as day-to-day. Of course, Amar’e Stoudemire’s knee injury was originally called a bone bruise and he, too, was listed as day-to-day.
Felton suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 106-99 victory over the Suns when he jammed his hand as he dribbled past two defenders. The injury appears to be closer to his left thumb.
“It’s swollen right now,” Felton said. “It’s a lot of pain, but we’ll see what happens.”
