Knicks G Lin out six weeks with torn meniscus

New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin will miss the next six weeks due to a knee injury, the team announced Saturday.Lin will undergo arthroscopic surgery for a small, chronic meniscal tear in his left knee and is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season and at least the first round of the playoffs, if the Knicks qualify.Lin has missed New York’s last three games due to the injury. The 23-year-old is averaging 14.6 points, 6.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 26.9 minutes per game this season.
