Knicks PG Davis could be back Tuesday
New York Knicks point guard Baron Davis could return from a hamstring injury as early as Tuesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors.Davis tweaked his right hamstring in Friday’s opener of a home-and-home set with the Indiana Pacers and sat out Saturday’s second half in Indiana. However, the injury is not as bad as first suspected and the team is not taking any chances with the veteran guard.Jeremy Lin and Mike Bibby split time at point guard Saturday. Davis is averaging 4.8 points and 5.3 assists since returning to action from a back injury on Feb. 20.
