Knicks, Rangers raising ticket prices
The New York Knicks and New York Rangers will both boost their ticket prices next season.Knicks fans will pay an average of 4.9 percent more for their 2012-13 season tickets and Rangers supporters will have their season seats raised 9.5 percent.The Madison Square Garden Company announced Tuesday that “price increases are primarily focused on the upper bowl seats.”The company will be renovating the upper bowl at Madison Square Garden after the Knicks and Rangers seasons are over.Seats in the upper deck currently sell for between $10 and $45 per game for the Knicks seasons subscribers. Rangers 400 level tickets are going for $39 this season.
