The Knicks have announced the signing of free agent forward Chris Copeland, who has played the last five seasons in Belgium, Germany and Spain as well a brief stint in the NBA D-League. Copeland is the second American acquisition who had been playing in Europe, following James White who was signed last week.

A native of Orange, NJ, the 28-year-old dreadlocked Copeland has been playing on the Knicks Summer League team and registered 17 points and two blocks in a loss to the Suns on Sunday.
