Knicks’ Tyson Chandler Feels ’100%’
Tyson Chandler missed 16 out of the Knicks’ last 20 regular-season games with a small bulging disk in his neck. The four games he did play in early April only led to more stiffness in his neck.
But with plenty of rest since then, Chandler said he feels “100 percent.” He was especially optimistic after Thursday’s practice because a conditioning workout with Carmelo Anthony on Wednesday resulted in no pain this morning.
“It’s the best I’ve felt in a long time,” Chandler said. “It actually was a blessing in disguise that I was able to get that time off, because now I’ll have fresh legs throughout the playoffs and I’m excited for this long run we’re about to endure.”
