Kobe thinks trade talk is hurting Gasol’s game
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant told reporters all the trade rumors surrounding forward Pau Gasol is impacting the Spaniard’s play.Bryant told the Los Angeles Times that the trade talks, which have been constant since the end of last season, have had a negative impact on Gasol, who is averaging 16.6 points – the lowest scoring average of his career – and 10.6 rebounds per game.“Personally I don’t understand that crap,” Bryant told reporters about the trade talks. “But it is what it is. It’s important for him to know we support him. I support him especially. I just want him to go out there and play hard and do what he does best for us.”Gasol has helped the Lakers win two NBA Championships in his four full seasons with the team.
