Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant moved passed former teammate Shaquille O’Neal and into fifth place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

Bryant made a long jumper midway through the second quarter of Monday’s game against Philadelphia to leapfrog O’Neal (28,596 points).

The shot was initially called a 3-pointer but later ruled to be a 2-point bucket following a review.

The 33-year-old Bryant is now only behind Wilt Chamberlain (31,419), Michael Jordan (32,292), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387).

Bryant, who owns a pair of scoring crowns, leads the NBA at 29.4 ppg this season.

Bryant and O’Neal won three NBA titles during their nine seasons together in Los Angeles.
