Lakers F Gasol May Play In Spain
Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol is planning to play for Barcelona if the NBA season is canceled.
Gasol told SlamOnline.com that he expected his brother Marc Gasol, a center for the Memphis Grizzlies, would join him in playing for Barcelona.
NBA negotiations broke off Monday when the players rejected the latest proposal from the league.
“The players have been giving in meeting after meeting until we reached a point where we could not give more,” Gasol said. “What we want is to play. I guess from now on things will change. This process is damaging the image of the league.”
