Lakers G Bryant out for 4th straight game

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant won’t suit up against the Denver Nuggets on Friday because of inflammation in his left shin.It will be the fourth straight game Bryant has sat out due to the injury.Bryant’s status remains day-to-day and Lakers coach Mike Brown said the All-Star is “definitely improving.”Bryant, the NBA’s scoring leader, suffered the injury on March 31 when he was kicked in the shin in a game against the New Orleans Hornets.The 33-year-old is averaging 28.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 56 games this season.
