Lakers forward Pau Gasol returned to his first 90 minute practice of running, shooting and performing other basketball-related drills pain free on Saturday after graduating from being on the treadmill the past three days with no lingering issues of tendinitis in his knees.

The next step will be seeing how his knees feel tomorrow after the stress of today. If they continue to be pain free, Gasol could be back for the Lakers’ home game against Charlotte on Tuesday with the next game not taking place until next Saturday at Golden State, giving Gasol plenty of time to recover.
