Already hurting in the win-loss column at 0-3, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Big 3 has been reduced already to two with a significant injury.
Lakers guard Steve Nash will miss at least one week with a “small non-displaced fracture in the head of his fibula (left leg),” the Lakers said in a new release sent Saturday afternoon.
Nash sustained the injury in the second quarter of Los Angeles’ 116-106 loss against the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.
Nash did not play in Friday’s game, a 105-95 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers’ upstart rival and on the verge of supplanting the Lakers as the best NBA team in the city.

Clippers super sub Jamal Crawford had 21 points, and with 50 points in two games, Crawford has outscored the Lakers’ reserves (48 points) – who have played three games.
