The Orlando Magic would begin playing a 72-game regular season as early as Dec. 15, and the 2012 All-Star Game would be played Feb. 26 at Amway Center if the players’ union accepts a new offer from league owners.
Note the word “if.”
If the union accepts, the contingency schedule that’s been drawn up by the NBA still calls for the 2012 All-Star Game to be played in downtown Orlando on Feb. 26, league spokesman Tim Frank told the Orlando Sentinel.
