LeBron James has a future as a weatherman
by Sean Highkin, USA TODAY Sports
If this whole basketball thing doesn’t work out, LeBron James might have a backup career option as a local weatherman. The Miami Heat superstar posted a collage of photos on his Instagram account that depicted a particularly rainy day in Miami, accompanied by this caption: “Miami ain’t always sunshine! Mother nature ain’t nothing to mess with. Rain rain go away, come back another day.”
Apparently, the National Weather Service’s social media intern is a basketball fan, because shortly after LeBron’s tweet, they issued a warning for the storm.
Usually, when a storm is mentioned in connection with LeBron’s name, it’s referencing how it feels for opponents to play against the Heat on a nightly basis. But in this case, it’s literal. If he needs something to do after he retires, he might want to look into openings for weathermen at TV stations in Miami.
