James: Third Quarter Like ‘Cleveland days’
With (Dwyane) Wade and center Chris Bosh off, combining for a meager 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting, (LeBron) James turned the Heat’s Big Three into the ultimate one, when he scored 16 of his 30 points in the third quarter, personally outscoring the Pacers by three in the period.
James said with Wade and Bosh off, he recognized that burden would be his.
“I just kind of went back to my Cleveland days at that point,” he said of being a singular star with the Cavaliers. “I just tried to figure out a way to see if the guys would just follow me, lead them the best way I could.
“I took it upon myself to stop waiting and just go.”
