President Barack Obama might consider himself a college basketball fanatic.

Yet another former president gave Rick Pitino’s Louisville squad the best surprise a team could ask for, visiting the players in the locker room after a Big East tournament victory.

The NCAA tournament No. 1 seed candidate Cardinals celebrated their 74-55 win over Villanova in Thursday’s Big East quarterfinals with none other than Bill Clinton. Louisville players didn’t see the surprise appearance coming.

And … the Internet didn’t see these photos (below) coming. Needless to say, the former president crashed the party.

Louisville’s Peyton Siva said he exchanged phone numbers with Clinton, while Russ Smith said he thinks he “was around” for the Clinton era.
