Rick Pitino doesn’t plan on coaching Louisville past 2017 when his contract expires.

The 59-year-old Pitino said Tuesday he realizes he doesn’t have a lot of years left given his age.

Pitino, the only coach to guide three different programs to the Final Four, signed a four-year extension in August.

Pitino is 253-96 in 11 seasons at the helm of Louisville.

The fourth-ranked Cardinals open Big East play against Georgetown on Wednesday.
