In a much-anticipated move, the Orlando Magic today fired head coach Stan Van Gundy. The move follows a very public falling out between Van Gundy and All-Star center Dwight Howard, and may be aimed at keeping Howard with the team long-term. Sources close to the situation tell HOOPSWORLD that the team is considering a clean sweep, with GM Otis Smith likely next to be fired.
UPDATE: The Magic have now fired GM Otis Smith, as well.
