Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson is being plagued by neck spasms, which ultimately forced him to leave Thursday’s game against the New Jersey Nets.

Nelson missed all three of his attempts from the field and had five assists and four rebounds in the contest.

Chris Duhon will likely see an increase in minutes should Nelson be sidelined for any length of time.

The 20th overall pick of the 2004 draft, Nelson averaged 13.1 points and 6.0 assists last season. He is averaging 6.7 points and 5.7 assists in three contests this campaign.
