Magic to ‘Accelerate’ Coaching Search
Now that the NBA draft is out of the way, new Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said it’s time to take a step forward in his search for a head coach.
“Certainly now that we’ve gotten past the draft we’ll start to accelerate that process a little bit,” Hennigan said. “Internally we’ve made some progress in terms of a timeline and in the criteria. Again, I’m not going to go into specifics on exactly what that is.
“We’re going to start the process tomorrow,” he said later, with “tomorrow” being Friday.
