Mark Cuban a Big Fan of Tom Thibodeau’s
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban knows the look of a champion after watching his team win the NBA title last season.
So naturally, Cuban has been impressed with the championship-caliber team the Bulls have assembled under the direction of Tom Thibodeau.
“I think they’re great,” Cuban said of the Bulls before Saturday’s game. “I think they have one of the top three coaches in the league. And I think it just proves the point that coaching matters.
“They’ve got a lot of talent, but the hardest thing to do in the NBA is to hire the right coach — a coach that fits your culture and chemistry. It took us a few tries, and we think we have a great coach (Rick Carlisle). What Thibs has been able to do has been phenomenal. He exemplifies what the Bulls have been able to do.”
