Marquette suspends Darius Johnson-Odom

Marquette suspended senior guard and leading scorer Darius Johnson-Odom on Saturday due to a violation of team rules.

The team announced the suspension prior to Saturday night’s home game against Northern Colorado, but did not specify the reason for the disciplinary action.

Johnson-Odom is averaging 18.8 points per game for the 11th-ranked Golden Eagles, who entered Saturday’s matchup a perfect 9-0 on the season.
