Henderson’s bromance with Bruesewitz

KANSAS CITY – Bromance in the NCAA tournament?
Turns out that Wisconsin’s Mike Bruesewitz wasn’t quite ready Thursday to return the same level of love that Mississippi’s enfant terrible, Marshall Henderson, expressed for him via Twitter earlier in the week.
Gushed Henderson: “cant wait to hoop against MIKE BRUSEWITZ!!! that dude got some serious swag!!! lol he seem like a cool … dude forreal.”
Thursday, he expounded.
“I’m a huge fan of college basketball,” Henderson said a day before the Badgers and Ole Miss meet in the NCAA tournament. “… I’ve watched Wisconsin a lot on TV, and I’ve heard Bruesewitz give some interviews and he seems like a colorful guy. People will trash on him when they go on the road and stuff, and I obviously feel (with) him on that. But he seems like a cool dude. I can’t wait to actually meet him.”
Asked a little later if he, too, was looking forward to the meeting when the Badgers and Ole Miss play Friday, the high-energy, electrically red-haired Bruesewitz played it cool.
“I’m going to be meeting him tomorrow and going to have to work extremely hard to make sure I don’t have to see him anymore on Sunday, to (let him) get to Sunday,” the senior forward said.
“It is what it is. Obviously, he wants to do whatever on Twitter and you guys (in the media) can feed off of that if you want. I’m not worried about that. I’m worried about the 40 minutes coming up.”… [For more on Marshall Henderson's bromance with Wisconsin player Mike Bruesewitz, click here.]
