Maryland had an atrocious shooting night on Sunday, scoring a catastrophic 14 points in a 54-47 loss to Miami. It was the latest sign of the Terps’ struggles in a 1-2 ACC start after a promising outlook following 13 consecutive wins.

Former Terps guard Terrell Stoglin, who led the ACC in scoring last season with 21.6 points per game, channeled his inner Stephon Marbury and decided to rip his former team by providing a what-goes-around-comes-around series of tweets.

Stoglin, who plays professionally in Greece, parted ways with Maryland after he was suspended for violating rules. He tested the NBA waters but ultimately landed a job playing overseas.

Stoglin’s tweets:

“watching my old team play is literally a joke ! what happened to college basketball? how dare u all bash me ! smh”

terp fans dont hate me. i will forever be a terp. just being honest, sorry”

Stoglin was recruited by former Maryland coach Gary Williams but didn’t ever seem to have great player-coach chemistry with coach Mark Turgeon, who encouraged Stoglin to be more of a playmaker by distributing and defending well. Stoglin took a higher percentage of shots last season than almost any Maryland player in the last 60 years.

The 6-2 get-to-the-rim-at-will guard was reportedly suspended for violations to the school’s drug policy, which led to him declaring for the NBA draft.
