Mavericks Feeling Thin at Point Guard
Everybody says it’s a soft draft, but that’s what always goes around this time of year. By June, the draft usually gets a lot stronger. The hope would be that they could find a legit point guard, someone in the Ty Lawson, Eric Bledsoe mode. But those are hard to come by. A few years ago, Detroit thought they had one in Rodney Stuckey and he’s turned into nothing. Someday, the Mavericks will find one like that…and if they don’t, the time is going to go by like jail time waiting for J-Kidd’s successor.
