Mavericks re-sign Delonte West

The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed guard Delonte West, the team announced Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Fort Worth Star Telegram reported West agreed to a one-year contract.

West, 29, was signed by the Mavericks as a free agent last Dec. 13, and he averaged 9.6 points 3.2 assists and 24.1 minutes in 44 games, including 33 starts, last season.

West missed 21 games after sustaining a fractured and dislocated right ring finger on Feb. 15.
