Mavs’ Cunningham Sent Down to D-League

Rookie guard Jared Cunningham has been re-assigned to the D-League’s Texas Legends, the Mavericks announced. It will be the first-round pick’s second stint in the D-League.

Cunningham averaged 18.1 points, 3.0 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 37.0 minutes in seven games with the Legends earlier this season. Cunningham has played sparingly for the Mavs, averaging 2.0 points in 3.3 minutes in eight games.
