Metta World Peace was asked if Steve Nash is the smartest member of the Los Angeles Lakers. His reply, according to the Los Angeles Times‘ Mark Medina, was true to Metta World Peace Form:

“He’s white, so probably yes.”

Steve Nash is white, so of course he is the smartest Laker. Peace was probably joking. If you read the tweet, and the tweet alone, it’s hard to know.

What we do know is Peace has been dubbed the ‘Lakers Idiot,’ and is also a mental health advocate.

After watching that, is it even worth debating anything that comes out of the former Ron Artest’s mouth?
