A year after falling two games short of the franchise’s second NBA championship, the Miami Heat will get their shot at redemption, with Saturday night’s compelling 101-88 Game 7 victory at AmericanAirlines Arena finally finishing off the Boston Celtics.

“It’s been a long 12 months,” guard Dwyane Wade said. “Obviously when you lose in the Finals, it hurts. Then you come into a season and you got to forget it, but you can’t forget it. We’re blessed to be here again.”

“It’s been a journey,” teammate LeBron James said. “It’s been a long ride.”
