Michigan guard Jordan Dumars announced that he is leaving the basketball team because of numerous injuries.
Dumars, the son of Pistons president Joe Dumars, will remain at the university but no longer play basketball after suffering knee and shoulder injuries the last two years.
Dumars transferred from South Florida midway through the 2009-10 campaign.Michigan went 21-14 and finished fourth in the Big Ten last year.
