Missouri’s Haith named AP Coach of the Year

Missouri men’s basketball coach Frank Haith was named the Associate Press’ Coach of the Year on Friday.Haith received 21 votes from the media panel, while John Calipari of Kentucky and Tom Izzo of Michigan State tied for second with 10 votes. The voting was done before the NCAA tournament.”I can’t tell you how honored and humbled I am with all the recognition,” Haith said.Missouri won 30 games and the Big 12 tournament before falling in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
