NBA All-Star Game scores big in ratings

The NBA All-Star Game drew signicant numbers – and not just on the scoreboard.

Going head-to-head with the Academy Awards, the All-Star Game produced its second-highest overnight rating since 2005.

The All-Star Game drew a 5.4 overnight for TNT – its best showing since the 5.9 effort in 2005.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant led the Western Conference to a 152-149 victory. Durant was named the game’s MVP.
