NBA players talk rom-coms on ‘Mindy Project’

It probably wasn’t super difficult for Amar’e Stoudemire, Baron Davis and Danny Granger to play themselves on Tuesday night’s episode of “The Mindy Project,” a new FOX comedy series starring Mindy Kaling.
But I bet it took a lot of courage to open up about their favorite romantic comedies. This is some from-the-heart real talk in the VIP booth of a hip night club.

Baron Davis: “Splash.”

Kaling: “Baron, why do you like Splash?”
Davis: “You know, the fantasy about going underwater and just, you know, finding love.”
Kaling: “That’s really romantic Baron. I didn’t know you had that side to you.”
