NBA Power Rankings Week Eight

12/24/12 – The Los Angeles Clippers have won 13-straight games, standing as just one of three teams with 21 wins (along with the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs). The Thunder hold onto the top spot by virtue of their half-game edge, earned by a November 21 victory over the Clippers in Oklahoma City. Meanwhile, the Charlotte Bobcats (15 straight) and New Orleans Hornets (11 in a row) have massive losing streaks. The national television schedule expands on Christmas Day with a number of intriguing match-ups including the Thunder in Miami against the HEAT and the New York Knicks visiting the Los Angeles Lakers.
