NBA Rescinds DeMarcus Cousins’ Technical
When the Kings had their morning meeting Monday, there were two ways to plan for that night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. There was the game plan with DeMarcus Cousins and the one without him.
The Kings only had to worry about the former after the NBA rescinded a technical foul called against Cousins in Sunday’s loss at Houston. If it had stood, it would have been his 16th of the season and come with an automatic one-game suspension.
It was the second technical foul Cousins has had rescinded this season.
Cousins was called for a technical foul with 2:47 left in the first quarter for pushing Houston forward Greg Smith as he ran up the court.
