NC, Kentucky lead coaches’ poll

The top 10 spots in the ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll remained relatively unchanged.

North Carolina and Kentucky held down the top positions, followed by Ohio State, Connecticut and Syracuse. The Tar Heels grabbed 30 of 31 first-place votes with the Wildcats getting one vote.

Pittsburgh dropped from No. 9 to 16th after a surprising loss to Long Beach State.

Duke came in at No. 6 in front of Louisville, Memphis, Florida and Baylor.

Nos. 11-15 were Wisconsin, Xavier, Alabama, Kansas and Michigan.
