Nets Assign Shengelia, Taylor to D-League

The Brooklyn Nets have reassigned forward Tornike Shengelia and guard Tyshawn Taylor to the Springfield Armor, the Nets’ NBA Development League affiliate.

In his previous four assignments to Springfield, Shengelia played in seven games, averaging 25.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 37.3 minutes. He was named NBA D-League Performer of the Week on Jan. 28.

During in Taylor’s previous assignment to Springfield he played in five games, averaging 25.4 points, 7.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 40.6 minutes.
