New Jersey Nets rookie guard MarShon Brooks was ruled out of Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors with a sprained left ankle.

Brooks left Wednesday’s game against the Boston Celtics when he landed on the foot of Boston’s Avery Bradley.

The first-round draft pick entered the game as the Nets’ second-leading scorer at 13.7 points per game.

Brooks has scored at least 17 points in five of his first seven games.
