Basketball News & NBA Rumors

The long-awaited return of Gerald Wallace may take place tonight.

The versatile small forward, who suffered a high left ankle sprain in the Nets’ season-opening victory and has missed the last six games, practiced fully yesterday and could start tonight against the Kings, coach Avery Johnson said. Wallace made it through a scrimmage without a setback and was listed as questionable.

“The main thing is he went through practice [yesterday], we’ll see how he feels [today],” Johnson said. “We’re just not sure yet. The main thing is going to be about recovery.”
