Nets Second Unit Not Clicking?

The Nets just didn’t have it against the Bulls, a day after they suffered a similar sloppy fate in a home loss to the Mavericks. They went more than seven minutes without scoring. They were bullied and lazy and careless with the ball, leaving their fight somewhere in the opening minutes. The Nets started hot, particularly Brook Lopez, who scored 14 of his 22 points in the first quarter on 7-of-10 from the floor.

Then they caved when the second unit entered the game.

“The most frustrating thing is we come out and play so well, then once we sub, we start all over again,” Williams said. “I’m not saying it’s the bench’s fault or one guy’s fault. I’m just saying in general. The second group could be playing good and then they sub me and Joe and Gerald (Wallace) back in and we just don’t click right away. That can’t happen.”
