Nets Sign Gerald Green to 10-Day
The Nets are finding health through the 10-day contract route once again.
Decimated by injury at the small forward position, the Nets Monday signed 2005 Celtics first-round pick Gerald Green. Green is an athletic 6’7 type, who is expected to practice with the team here. The Nets open the second half of the season against the Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Green, 26, was the MVP of the NBA D-League All-Star game in Orlando this past weekend. Ironically, the Nets had worked him out late last week prior to his dominating 28-point performance.
