As far as college basketball venues go, The Pit in Albuquerque provides one of the most hostile atmospheres in the country. The home for the New Mexico Lobos has a reputation as one of the loudest arenas in the country with it being a mile below sea level.

The Pit is one of those college hoops courts where it feels like fans are breathing on you with the proximity to the players.

On Wednesday night in the Mountain West opener for New Mexico and UNLV, two league title contenders, one fan took things a little too far by actually pushing UNLV player Anthony Marshall.

The passionate New Mexico fan, wearing a state flag shirt, was kicked out of the game by officials and New Mexico Athletics. New Mexico won the game 65-60, but the fan lost his court side seat.
