Eric Gordon, who has played nine games for the New Orleans Hornets since being traded by the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the deal for Chris Paul before the 2011-12 season, might be back on the court this weekend, according to The Times-Picayune.

Hornets coach Monty Williams told the paper that Gordon could play Saturday against the Charlotte Bobcats at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte.

Gordon had arthroscopic surgery on his knee last season because of a bone bruise.
