No. 1 Kentucky extends home win streak to 48

Freshman Anthony Davis had 18 points and six rebounds to lead No. 1 Kentucky to a 69-44 win over Tennessee, as the Wildcats won their 48th consecutive home game.Davis had his way inside, making 6 of 7 from the field, as Kentucky (22-1, 8-0 SEC) stretched its winning streak to 14 games. Fellow freshman Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 16 points and six rebounds.Tennessee (10-12, 2-5 SEC) was led by Renaldo Woolridge, who came off the bench to hit five 3-pointers and score 17 points. Jeronne Maymon scored 13 points, but had only one rebound. The Vols were doomed by poor shooting, making only 16 of 65 from the floor (24.6 percent), while Kentucky shot 50 percent (22-for-44), despite making only 1 of its 13 3-pointers. Kentucky led 38-25 at halftime and was never threatened.
