The Portland Trail Blazers have declined the team options for next season on three of their young players, Luke Babbitt, Nolan Smith and Elliot Williams.

General manager Neil Olshey said Tuesday that the decision was based entirely on the team’s desire to maintain salary cap flexibility for free agency next summer.
